Call your circle: the iPhone 4 won't launch in Lexington until
mid-March; nationwide launch still set for Feb. 10

The competition between AT&T and Verizon Wireless intensifies as Verizon prepares to launch the iPhone 4 in less than one week. But, the Lexington community will have to travel to Roanoke or Staunton to buy the newest mobile product because the Verizon retail store in Lexington will not sell the units until mid-March. Online pre-sale orders are sold out, according to the Verizon website, but a second wave of phones is scheduled for online purchase February 9.
