Cheerleaders often get stereotyped and overlooked in today's day and age, and many spectators do not consider "cheer" to be a sport. But to its dedicated participants, cheerleading is not only a sport but a way to express themselves and create longlasting bonds.Washington and Lee's own peppy cheer squad shows that while the women may not receive recognition, they maintain their spirit.
